Bangkok International Airport is about 16 miles north of the city centre and is the main hub for Thailand and South-East Asia. More than 25 million travellers pass through the airport each year, making it one of the world's top 30 airports. There are two international terminals in addition to a domestic hub that is used by many low cost airlines in addition to Thai Airways. A complimentary shuttle service links the buildings, and there is also an air-conditioned walkway.
